I. Electronic Light Dimmers电子灯光调光器
These Light Dimmers can be used to adjust the intensity of an incandescent lamp to a desired level from zero to the lamp’s rated wattage. In simple terms the dimmer converts an ordinary lamp into a multi-purpose lamp. The electronic light dimmer finds applications in modern homes, commercial buildings like offices, hotels, hospitals, cinema, theatres, etc. Leading chandelier and pedestal/table lamp manufactures also use electronic light dimmers.

The electronic light dimmer uses the principle of phase control for applying the alternating voltage on the load. Power saving is substantial since the voltage can be brought down resulting in less power consumption for the lamp. Typical power savings for an incandescent lamp using a dimmer are given in the following table:

Although it has a higher initial cost compared to the conventional ballast, the payback is generally attractive.
