Four years’ school life is coming to an end. Recalling the four years’ life, I feel that I got many things. In the thesis writing process, there are many difficulties. I gt the guidance, support, and encouragement from quite a list of people, especially from my tutor. I take this opportunity to express my heartfelt thanks to my tutor! Meanwhile, I want to thank the teachers in Oujiang College. Because of their preaching, uition, FAQ, I learned professional knowledge and learned many things. I would also like to thank my classmates to give me help. I would like to thank gratefully to my mentor teacher Wang Yan. She was easygoing, passionate and careful. It is teacher Wang’s selfless help and enthusiastic encouragement that enabled my thesis to be smoothly completed. What’s more, I would also like to four years’ college life, my family, and those friends that I’ll never forget. Their support and encouragement is my wealth.
Abstract: College English classroom silence has become a common phenomenon. This not only affects the progress of their teachers, but also hinders students’ access to knowledge. Classroom as the place of teaching is to improve the quality of college English teaching. And the teacher as dominate of imparting knowledge is to regulate the behavior of students and enrich students knowledge. The classroom silence is bound to affect a variety of teaching activities. This article which employs questionnaires and references to a variety of books and other forms is to analyze the cause of College English classroom silence. And according to the various reasons, the author puts forward corresponding countermeasures.
