1. Course Objectives
To give students the ability to analyze analog and digital communication systems performance, and design subsystems and circuits. To provide communications fundamentals required for careers related to communications and/or more advanced communications training.
Having followed this course, students should meet following demands:
(1) obtain analytic approach of random signal and its through linear system.
(2) understand general characteristics on channel and noise and its influence
to signal transmission.
(3) hold of principle of digital base-band transmission system.
(4) hold of principle of digital modulation transmission system.
(5) obtain principle of digitalization of analogue signal.
(6) obtain optimum receiving principles of digital signals.
(7) understand sync principles of digital communication.
(8) understand multiplexing and multi-address technique.
(9) understand basic knowledge on error control coding.
(10)understand advanced digital modulation technique.
