POSITION: Plant Director DIVISION: ANI FUNCTION: Plant REPORTS TO: Director, PM NO. OF DIRECT REPORTS: 1 EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Minimum of Bachelors Degree in Science, Engineering or related discipline. RESPONSIBILITIES: Three Main Responsibilities: Job Weighting% Main Responsibilities 40% Provide overall leadership, direction and co-ordination to the plant, maintaining awareness for the need for on-going change and continuous improvement, monitoring performance versus Plan and Update and taking corrective action as necessary to meet targets for output, payroll and operating expenses. 30% Leading by example, maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, environmental control and customer service. 30% Ensure the plant produces the highest quality products in the safest, most efficient and hygienic manner, in compliance with all company policies and procedures. Major Responsibilities/Activities Provide leadership to the plant, directing operations to ensure that safety, quality, environmental, production output, product cost and other plant objectives are achieved. Put in place an effective operational structure and anticipate the talents and skills required to meet future needs and work to develop employees’ capabilities to meet these needs. Drive safe behaviors at all levels of the organization, ensuring plant infrastructure and equipment is maintained to the highest level of safety and work to achieve zero safety incidents, with immediate response and thorough investigations and corrective actions for all hazardous occurrences and accidents. Ensure compliance to all Abbott quality and regulatory policies and procedures, meeting all local statutory requirements and meeting regulatory requirements of countries to which products are shipped. Prepare and ensure achievement of the Financial Plans/Updates. Ensure full compliance with financial policies and procedures and Code of Business Conduct. Drive the Business Excellence Program and Lean/Sigma
