Lots of people like traveling．Our friends Eddie and Hobo also like traveling．Look at the pictures and answer: 1.Is Eddie happy in the first picture? Why? (Yes. He is going on a trip.) 2. Does Hobo want to go too?(Yes.) 3.How does he feel?(He’s very excited) Step2. Ask Ss to listen to the tape and read after tape. And then tell Ss to read the comic strip, and ask some questions to check understanding, 1）Where is Eddie going?（He is going on a trip to south Hill.） 2）Does Hobo want to go too?（Yes，he does. 3）What does Hobo want to bring?（He wants to bring everything with him．） 4) Why is Eddie unhappy in the last picture?(He has to carry a heavy bag.) Step3. Ask Ss to talk about what people should take when they go on a trip in groups. Tell them to write the items on the blackboard if they have any ideas. Step4.
