It was around two o’clock in the afternoon and I was riding my bicycle. Hardly had I got to a major crossroads when the green traffic light flashed, so I stopped. The traffic light soon turned red, but a middle-aged man, also riding a bicycle, passed me on my left and decided to take a risk. To my surprise, he was followed by two or three people. It was most unlucky for the man who first rushed out to be hit by a taxi running at full speed. With a harsh sound of the emergency brake, the car stopped but the man fell down, groaning and bleeding. The red light was still on at that moment. In my eyes, the major responsibility for this accident was on the bicycle-rider. It was because he had violated the traffic regulation that the accident took place.
