It could be concluded that the history of architecture are made by the history of technology，magic and art. In our country, two kinds of magic have come into being. One is primitive modality; the other one is affected by Lu-bang worship, Taoism, shushu and fengshui, so it is complex in content and normative in form. The latter is gestated from the former, and the former has been affected by the latter in the process of cultural transmission, as a result, a mixed type has been generated. The effect of the magic that put in force by handicraftsmen in the construction of buildings has been popular in different areas, nationalities, and dynasties. Nobody has studied on the magic that put in force by handicraftsmen in the construction of buildings as a integrated system. Collectting information in chinese ancient book and that people got in the field work from modern times to the present age, take the academic method in anthropology and folklore, this thesis did research mainly on the latter modality and partially related to the former modality and the mixed modality. The main conclusion of this thesis are as follows : the primitive modality of the magic that put in force by handicraftsmen in the construction of buildings mainly concentrate on the tree worship and earth worship. Series of sutra such as book of Lu-bang have come into being because of the effect of some cultural systems , such as ghosts and gods worship , supernatural being godliness, conjuring of Taoism, shushu(knowledge to reckon on or forecast something in the future mainly by ),Yin Yang (the two opposing principles in nature, the former feminine and negative and the latter masculine and positive)and Wu Xing(five elements of metal, wood , water, fire and earth) fengshui（knowledge to reckon on or forecast the fate of somebody, mainly re
