Be able to understand and say the rhyme 三、教学重点:The rhyme 四、教学难点:The new words 五、课前准备:Tape, word cards ,picture 六、教学过程: 1.Greeting and set goals: T: Good morning, boys and girls. S: Good morning, Miss ____. T: Today, let’s go to the farm and feed the animals. Let’s have a competition, see which group can feed the most animals. 2. Warm up 1 . Sing a song: “Good morning” 2 . Listen to the sounds of some animals and guess: What is it “It’s a cow\pig\dog\cat….” present the animals on the board . 3.Presentation : 1 listen to the sounds of the cock and the hen and insert the new words .”cock” “hen” 2 T: look at the pictures on the screen and read the new words. Perhaps some students can listen the sound of a cock in the morning: “ooo”, ask some pupils to imitate the sound of the cock. 3 “can you count ?” Count the cocks and the hens on the screen. “one ,two, three, four,five,six,seven, eight,nine,ten,ten cocks” “one,two,three,four,five,six,seven,eight ,eight hens.” Stick the numbers from 1 to 10 on the blackboard while counting 4 count the cocks and hens, to practice the numbers 5 listen and stand-up. eg: teacher says”four”,four pupils in each group stand-up, which group response the fast . 5 .Learn the rhyme:“ The cock and the hen” 1 look at the screen and ask the pupils : “look! Where is the cock?” The cock jumps from one to four, teacher guides the pupils to say: “one, two, three, four,the cock is on the wall.” “four,four,wall,wall.” 2 “Look! Where is the cock now” Let’s see!”,guide the pupils to look at the screen and says: “five, six,seven,eight,the cock is on the gate.” “eight, eight, gate ,gate.” 3 the same way to present and teach the last teo sentences: “nine ,ten,nine ,ten,here comes a hen.” 4 Listen to the ryhme and read the rhyme together three
