First of all, I am deeply grateful to my supervisor Professor Deng Daoxuan, who has helped me finish the paper successfully. Professor Deng is splendid and kind. His academic reputation, professional ethics and professional spirit encourage me a lot. He has given me a lot of valuable advice and instruction, and encouraged me to overcome a lot of difficulties. I am also grateful to his dedicated professionalism of guiding us. Secondly, I would like to send my gratitude to my roommates and classmates in the group with me; they also gave me much help. I got many good ideas and points from them. They supported me when I was in the tough time and gave me courage to pass through all the difficulties. Finally, I would like to show my respect and gratitude to my parents, they always comfort me and support me when I wrote the graduation thesis. Abstract In China, the government has paid much more attention to the English education in high school than any time in the past. Although the government, students, parents, teachers and researchers have spent a lot of time on getting higher scores, students gain a few practical skills and have poor oral English in fact. In recent years, the multimedia has been frequently used in the area of education especially in English teaching. Many educators and researchers have discussed and researched the possibility of using multimedia in English teaching.
