父母与儿童的互动交际有助于儿童语言发展,在此过程中,父母往往采用儿向语言和目标童交流,本文试从讨论儿向语言的特点进而讨论儿向语言对儿童语言习得的积极影响。首先,介绍儿向语言的概念;其次,分析儿向语言的特点;再次,论证儿向语言对儿童语言习得的积极影响;最后得出结论:在生活中应尽量使用儿向语言和目标儿童交流,以促进儿童语言的习得和发展。
The Positive Affection of Baby Talk to Child Language Acquisition

Abstract: The interaction between the parents and the child is good for the child language development. During this process, adults tend to use Baby Talk or Speech Directed at Babies or Infant –Directed Speech to communicate with the child. This article is aim at analyzing the positive affection of Baby Talk to the child language acquisition.

The Definition of Baby Talk
Baby Talk also referred to as Caretaker Speech, Infant-Directed Speech (IDS) or Child-Directed Speech (CDS) is the term applied to that way of talking that parent and other adults use when they are addressing young children.
The Feature of Baby Talk
Perhaps the most obvious feature of Baby Talk is the special phonetic qualities it has (Snow and Ferguson 1977). High pitch, a sing-song intonation pattern, and long drawn –out vowels are typical features. For example, think how a delighted mother responds to the smile of her young infant: “Helooooooo” starts very high then drops down and rises again to the height of the original pitch, or nearly so. Another phonological feather of Baby Talk is reflected in adults preferring to use words or versions of words with a simple structure, such as consonant-vowel-consonant-vowel, which result in “horse” becoming “horsie” for example, or “train” becoming “choo-choo”.
Besides, Infant-Directed Speech does not only include the characteristics of high pitched speech and elongated syllables, but also incorporates visual body movement that assist in conveying meaning of language to infants. For example, head movements are used to emphasize.
