商务英语谈中模糊限制语的语用功能及策略研究
摘 要
自从LA.Zadeh提出“模糊集”这一理论后,模糊概念被广泛延伸到各个领域。作为模糊语言领域中最普遍、最典型的现象,模糊限制语广泛地出现和使用在不同的方面和领域。商务英语的特殊性在于目的性极强,其交际效果的好坏直接关系到经济效益,而模糊限制语对于商务英语的交际效果有着举足轻重的作用。国内外研究人员对语义的模糊性已经进行了较为深入的研究,然而,对于模糊限制语在商务英语谈判中的语用功能及其策略研究还很少有深入系统的研究。
因此,笔者在前人研究的基础上,利用情景对话对模糊限制语在商务英语谈判中的语用功能及策略进行了系统和深入的分析,以期能提供对模糊限制语这种语言现象更深一步的认识和理解,从而更好的改善和维系谈判双方的人际关系,使商务英语谈判更加顺利的进行,实现谈判的目的。

ABSTRACT
Since LA.Zadeh proposed “fuzzyset”, this mathematical concept has been widely extended to other fields. As the most common and typical phenomenon, hedges appear frequently in different aspects and are used in many domains. The particularity of Business English lies in its characteristic of interest motivation, there is a close relation between the communication effects and the commercial benefit and hedges hold the balance of the effect of the business negotiation. Up till now,Chinese and foreign researchers has carried on the study on hedges in language. However,the research on pragmatic functions and strategies of hedges in Business English is far from enough to satisfy the demand of status.
The author has made a systematic and intensively analysis of the pragmatic functions and strategies on hedges in English for Business Negotiation by analyzing situational dialogues hoping to give a better understanding of hedges and improve the interpersonal relationship of the business negotiators and attain goals.
