Which / What class are you in? live in Room 202 take Bus No. 3 / take the No. 3 bus Unit One / the first unit 三、序数词的用法 1．修饰名词单数 September is the ninth month of a year. 2．修饰形容词的最高级 Yellow River is the second longest river in China. He thinks computer is the first most important invention. 3．序数词与不定冠词a连用，表示“又一个、再一个” Soon the boy tried for a second time. Would you like a second cup of coffee, sir? = Would you like another cup of coffee, sir? There is a third present on the table. 4．表示事物顺序前一般要加the，若有名词所有格或物主代词时则不用the。序数词用在比赛中，表冠、亚军、第三名等排名时，则不加the。 He was first past the finishing line.
