Generally speaking there are 3 types. They are Recreational and off-road vehicles; Passenger sedans and light commercial vehicles; and Heavy vehicles. Each of these groups including many kinds of vehicles can be described as follows. Recreational and off-road vehicles Recreational vehicles are the vehicles which can run on poor condition road. Off-road vehicles like jeeps can go for a long distance or run on rough roads. They are usually used on special purposes. Passenger sedans and light commercial vehicles Passenger sedans are widely used by family households in everyday life. They can carry two, four or six people. This group also includes light commercial vehicles like small pick-up vehicles which are used to carry small loads. Heavy vehicles Many large vehicles used in industry or agriculture belong to heavy vehicles. Generally, they are built for carrying heavy loads. Articulated vehicles（铰接车）and tipping vehicles are all in this type. Buses are another type of heavy vehicles. According to their length and design, buses can also be classified as small, medium, large and articulated buses. There are many other special types of heavy vehicles such as street water sprinklers, ambulances and fire-engines (fire-trucks). They serve us in our daily life. ?
