Software Algorithms and Control System Design of FPCB Laser Cutting Machine Abstract—Base on FPCB high-precision laser cutting machine equipment rd practice, Taking into account the FPCB fixture-free, easy deformation characteristics and optical path precision requirements, the paper Introduced the technical difficulties and key technologies about laser cutting machine control system software development. The design of control system and key algorithm about PCB laser cutting software is given, which achieve the high quality of the work piece cutting by the coordination of the worktable, galvanometer and laser control. Based on computer vision technology, the system capture the image of the work piece with reference mark hole by CCD, compute the actual location and the actual deformation of PCB board, achieve the PCB image positioning and auxiliary servo using Canny operator and Hough algorithm. The geometric distortion compensation of dual galvanometer scanning system and the deformation correction of PCB work piece is solved by software method Keywords :Laser Cutting; Laser Scanning Control; Canny edge detection; Hough Transform According to the development of electronic products toward the small, thin, short, easy to carry and so the direction, flexible printed circuit board (FPCB) are becoming more widely used technology in the electronics and communications industries in recent years. The flexible printed circuit boards mainly is made up of the polyimide and acrylic resin materials, which is low rigidity, small size, can be stretched, bending, twisting and will not damage the wires, follow a special package of different shapes and dimensions. Since the rigidity of PCB low, which can be bended, twisted, it have a higher range of applications. In the process of PCB manufacturing, the PCB will be operated accurately for circuit unit cutting, drilling, which is very difficult to accomplish using traditional tools .
