Help students to role play the conversations. 教学过程 教师活动 学生活动 二次备课建议： Step1 Warm-up 1.Ask the students to brainstorm a list of things that are important to them when they go on vacation. Write them down in their exercise books. They should not worry if an idea is silly or if a word is spelled wrong. They can even write a word in their first language for the moment. Ask them to have a look at the two model phrases the book provides before they begin. 2.Discuss the lists in groups of four. Each one reads his or her own list to the other three. Then they discuss the words or phrases together. If there is something that they are not sure, tell them to show the teacher by putting up their hands. Step2 Listening 1.Look at the three pictures in Activity 2a now. We know Jeff has a summer job at a travel agency. We will hear him talking on the phone with three different people. Listen to the conversations and number the pictures. 2.Check the answers. 3.Ask the students to read the headings Customer, Wants, Doesn’t want and point out the blanks under each one. And let them see the sample answer under Wants in the chart. 4.Ask the students to listen again and complete chart. 5.Correct the answers. 2b Listening and completing Now I will play the tape once again and you are to complete the chart on page 55.
