Jane Goodall was born in England on April 3,1934. In her childhood, she spent much time outdoors exploring various creatures. At the age of 17, she went to Africa and studied chimps instead of going to university. For 40 years , she has been doing research in Gombe National Park . In 1965, she earned her doctor’s degree. In 2002, she was honored as a peace fighter by the UN. Her research showed the connections between chimps and human beings. She works to protect chimps everywhere.
