.To show how much we’re going to miss her, let’s have a surprise party for her next Friday the 28th.

2 Ability Objects
Students must learn to make invitations. They must learn to say yes and say no to an invitation and give their reasons.
Moral objects
We teach this lesson in order to learn how to accept or refuse an invitation of foreign countries politely. It will teach the students good manners. Students also learn to arrange their life properly.
II. Teaching importance
To master Key Phrases and target language
To learn to use present progressive as future for planned actions
To enable students to make, accept and decline invitations.
III. Teaching Difficulties
To enable the students to use the target language to make, accept and turn down an invitation in the real language situation.
IV. Teaching Procedures
Step 1 Free talk and lead in
Greetings.
Brain storm.
Introduce some kinds of the parties people have . Project some cards in and out of our country. Talk about them with students.
(There are many kinds of parties people have .Like birthday party, New Year’s party ,wedding party, housewarming party , surprise party ,dinner party ,tea party ,welcome party ,farewell party and so on.)
There are formal ones or informal ones . For formal ones, invitations are usually sent to those who are invited from hosts. The mainly tell the receivers the kind of the party, when and where it will be.
