Book2 Unit5 Do you like pears? 通小 李媛媛 I. Thoughts of Teaching “English course standard”. Its necessary to make students master words. They’re the basic knowledge of learning English. And the sentences patterns are very important, too. We need them to communicate and read. By the “Task-based Teaching”, students can experience and get involved in the process and language activities. II. Analysis of Teaching Material This unit is about fruit:apple/pear/orange/banana and some sentence patterns: Do you like ...? No, I dont./ Yes, I do. Students are interested in the topic. According to the teaching material, I make the best use of the computer and adopt many games, songs, activities which are tightly related to the real life and that students are interested in. Prepare more activities. Encourage them to act and say. IV. Teaching Aims i. Knowledge Aim Have students master the following words about fruit: apple/pear/orange/banana/fruit. Students should learn and practice the sentence patterns below. ------ Do you like oranges? ------ No, I dont. I like apples. ------ Do you like pears? ------ Yes, I do. ii. Ability Aim Students should use words and the sentence patterns to make new dialogs , and communicate freely in our daily life. iii. Moral Aims Eating more fruit and vegetables is good for your health. V. Teaching Key Points Understanding the dialogues as a whole. It is important to learn and use words above well. VI. Teaching Difficulty Role playing the dialogue with the right pronunciation, intonation and sentence stress. Students should lear
