教学目标:
1. 能听懂、会说、认读以下单词和短语:the British Museum, the London Eye, wheel, wonderful, understand, postcard;
2. 能听懂、会说、认读以下句子: What did you do at the weekend? We visited lots of places. Where did you do? We went to the British Museum.
3. 灵活运用所学知识,描述自己以前去过哪里,做了些什么,能用完整的几句话描述自己的一次旅行,并能听懂他人描述自己旅行的语言。
教学重难点:
重点:学会运用“ What did you do at the weekend? We ... ” “Where did you go? We went to...”来描述自己以前去过哪里,做了些什么。
难点:灵活运用一般过去时态描述自己周末去过哪里,做过什么。
教学用具:
多媒体课件、CD-ROM、单词卡片。
教学过程:
一、热身(Warm-up)
1. (课前一直播放第一模块第二单元学过的歌曲“Where did you go?”)
(上课铃响后,师生问候)
T: In this class, if you do well, you will get a sticker. (向学生展示为他们准备的小贴画)
T: Do you understand? (出示单词卡,学习understand;领读,开火车读)
T: Come on. OK?
Ss:OK.
T: Now let’s sing a song“Where did you go?”.
【设计意图:一首欢快的歌曲,不但可以使学生带着轻松、愉快的心情进入英语课堂,而且引出了本课的一个重点句子——Where did you go?】
2. Free Talk
T: Last weekend, I went to the park. Where did you go?
S: I went to the park.
S: I went to …
【设计意图:让学生调动已有的知识储备,对“Where did you go? I went to…”有初步的认识。】
二、呈现(Presentation)
1. T: Last Sunday, Lingling went to the park with Sam and Amy. There are many places of interest in London.
(幻灯片依次显示Big Ben, the River Thames, Tower Bridge, Hyde Park的图片,让学生说一说)
T: (幻灯片显示大英博物馆的图片)What’s this? (出示单词卡,领读the British Museum, 抽查学生读)
T:(幻灯片显示伦敦眼的图片)What’s this? (出示单词卡,领读the London Eye, 开小火车读)
【设计意图:以图片和单词卡的形式呈现伦敦有名的几个地方,渗透文化意识的同时,为学生学习课文做铺垫】
2. 整体感知课文
T: We know that Lingling is in London with Sam and Amy. What did they do at the weekend?
Watch and answer: Where did they go at the weekend?
S: They went to the British Museum.
(幻灯片显示课文中的对话,师领读、师生问答、男女生问答、同桌练习问答并展示)
Daming:Where did you go?
Amy: We went to the British Museum.
【设计意图:以动画的形式向学生呈现课文,让学生从整体上感知课文。抓住“Where did you go? We went to the British Museum.”这个重点对话,展开充分的练习】
3.逐段解决课文中的知识点
(1)Watch the CD-ROM and answer :What did they do at the weekend?
S: They visited lots of places.
