1 I just come back from Britain last week. I was luckily enough to be one of the student from different countries to visit the UK from Feb. 16 to 28. We paid a visit to many places, like London, Oxford or the Lake District. I learned much about British culture and history in London, where was my favourite. I also liked Oxford, in which I saw much more old buildings. The Lake District was beautiful, but it was pity that it rained heavily when they were there. The most excited thing for me in the Britain was that I made a lot of friends there. 2 Last weekend I went to the Summer Palace as usually. At about noon, I was enjoying my reading near a lake while suddenly I hear someone crying for help. I went up to see what was happening. I was shocking to find a little child struggling in the water in the distance while many peoples were standing by without doing anything. Without any hesitation, I had pushed through the crowd as I took off my coat, but jumped into the water quickly. I managed to reach him and carried him back to safety. To his great relief, the kid was saved. I was proud what I had done. I hope everyone can give a hand when someone else is in need. 3 I went hiking to a mountain with my friends last summer. It was a good trip at the beginning and something unexpected happened half way. One of my friend suddenly felt a terrible pain in his stomach and he couldn’t move any far. Nobody knew what to do it. One girl tried to call her mum in her mobile phone, but there was no signal in the mountain area. Lucky we had brought a tent with us. We put it up and let him rested in it. He took some medicine. Then he drink some water, and ate some food. After while, he felt much better and we walked on. We all enjoyed us on the top
