Unit4 Earthquakes教学设计 课文名称 Earthquakes (warming up and reading) 科目 英语 教学对象 高一（2）学生 课时 1课时 授课者 陈芳 一、学生认知起点分析 上课之前，学生已经学习了本单元在课本上第25页和26页的单词与词组。并且对大自然的一些灾难有相关的了解。 二、学习任务分析 学生能够掌握重点单词与词组的运用，掌握一些基本的关于地震发生时的应急逃生知识，正确做出课堂上的当堂练习题，大致理解课文中唐山大地震发生之前与发生时的基本情况。 三、教学目标 1．知识与技能：(1)Get the students to learn the useful new words and expressions in this passage. (2) Get the students to know basic knowledge about disasters. 2．过程与方法：(1)Develop the students’reading ability and let them learn different reading skills。 (2)Train the students’ ability to collect useful information from the 3．情感态度与价值观：(1) Get the students to know damages earthquakes bring About and the ways to reduce losses of earthquakes. (Earthquake,Tornado, Volcano, Hurricane, Debris flows.) 学生学习相关的灾难单词，产生兴趣 激发学生的学习热情，引出本单元的主题：“地震”。 二、热身活动 （Warming up） Talking about earthquakes. 谈论有关地震的话题。（讨论的相关问题请看附录中的习题。） Students discuss questions and do some exercises. 学生小组讨论问题，并且结合教师所出的习题进行当堂练习。 使学生加深对知识的理解，对于地震所带来的破坏，地震发生时逃生知识，地震发生前的征兆有相关的了解。 三、快速阅读 （Fast reading） Show them a movie poster of Tangshan earthquake. 向学生展示关于唐山大地震的海报，引出课文。 Students read the title ”A night the earth did not sleep” 学生朗读课文标题，并且理解意思。 通过海报引出唐山大地震相关的课文。 Let students to review the new words and expressions. 学生复习本节课的相关单词和词组。 Students read the new words and expressions, then translate them . 学生齐读相关单词与词组，并且在教师所出的习题中进行翻译。 让学生在阅读课文之前复习相关
