一、领域简介
冶金工程领域是研究从矿石、二次资源等原料中提取金属或化合物,并制成具有一定使用性能和经济价值产品的工程技术科学。主要任务是研究各种金属冶炼和提取方法、原理、流程、工艺及设备,提高生产效率,节约能源,减少污染,改进产品质量,降低成本,扩大品种。 with proper functions and economic value. Metallurgical engineering includes ferrous and nonferrous metallurgical engineering. The basic theory of metallurgical engineering is physical chemistry of metallurgy. The area of metallurgical engineering is related to materials engineering, environmental engineering, mineral engineering, controlling engineering, computer technology etc. as well as physics, chemistry, engineering thermophysics etc.
As one of the oldest authorized area for the engineering professional master’s degree, the metallurgical engineering area has started to recruit students since 1998. With a solid academic foundation and strong potential for career development, the graduates in metallurgical engineering have been well received by mining and metallurgical enterprises, especially by the state-owned big and medium-sized enterprises. Some of them have become senior technical and management personnel.
