[辨析比较]　 occur, happen, take place, come about occur 表示“发生”，用于指具体事物时，可与happen互换，但后接to sb./sth.时，两者含义不同。occur to意为“想法、主意等呈现于某人的知觉中”；happen to表示“对……发生”。happen后接不定式时，不能与occur换用 happen happen表示的“发生”往往带有意外性和偶然性，happen to sb./sth.指不好的事情发生在某人(物)身上。另外，happen也可作“碰巧”讲，这时后面要接to do sth.
