People in more than 42 countries speak English. In all, for more than 375 million people, English is their mother tongue. English is very useful in our lives. People speak English in both the UK and the USA. However, there are some differences between British English and American English. Sometimes they use different words which mean the same things. For example, the English talk about“autumn” while the Americans talk about “fall”.
