Activation and Function of iNKT and MAIT Cells_图文导读：就爱阅读网友为您分享以下“Activation and Function of iNKT and MAIT Cells_图文”的资讯，希望对您有所帮助，感谢您对92的支持! iNKTandMAITCells157(Brodinetal.,2015).iNKTcellsarealsopresentinhumanliver,althoughunlikeinmice,theyarenotthedominantintrahepaticlymphocytepopu-lation(Kitaetal.,2002).RecentreportssuggestthathumaniNKTcellsaremuchmoreabundantinadiposetissue(Lynchetal.,2009)andintheperitonealcavity(Wingender,Hiss,etal.,2012).Comparingmiceandhumans,thefrequenciesofiNKTcellsandMAITcellsareinverselyrelated.WhileiNKTcellsareabundantandMAITcellsrareinmice,theoppositeholdstrueinhumanswhereMAITcellsaccountforbetween1%and10%ofallcirculatingTcells.MAITcellsarealsothemostabundantpopulationinhumanliver(20–45%)andtheyarewellrepresentedinintestinalmucosaltissues(3–5%)(Dusseauxetal.,2010;Martinetal.,2009). 1.7EffectorFunctions iNKTandMAITcellsproducecopiousamountsofavarietyofcytokines,uponTCRstimulation.iNKTcellsproducebothTh1andTh2cytokinesuponpotentTCRactivation(Bendelacetal.,2007;Briglamp;Brenner,2004;Brigletal.,2011;Kronenberg,2005),andtheycanexertcytotoxicactivity(Kawanoetal.,1998). Asnotedabove,subsetsofiNKTcellswithdistinctivefunctionalchar-acteristicshavebeendescribed.Themainandbest-characterizedsubsetsareNKT1,NKT2,andNKT17cells(Doisneetal.,2009;Leeetal.,2013;Micheletal.,2007,2008;Rachitskayaetal.,2008;Wataraietal.,2012),so-calledbecauseoftheirresemblancetoCD4+,MHCclassII-reactiveTh1,Th2,andTh17cells,bothintermsoftheexpressionofsignaturetranscriptionfactorsandthecytokinestheyproduce(Fig.3B).NKT1cellsproduceIFNγ,theyhavehighlevelsofexpressionofT-bet,buttheyarenottypicalTh1cells,astheyarealsocapableofpro-ducingTh2cytokines,suchasIL-4.NKT17cellssynthesizeIL-17AandtheyexpresshigheramountsofRORγT,whileNKT2cellsproduceIL-4andIL-13andtheyhaveincreasedexpressionofPLZ
