第一步 检查作业
让学生相互交换所写的小文章,注意描述语言的准确性,选出本组最佳文章、好的语句,然后老师收集、整理,进行张贴,大家共享、共赏。
第二步 听力训练
1. Great Britain is a multicultural society, which means its citizens come from many different ethnic backgrounds. The aim of this exercise is to show how history has affected those who can become British citizens.
Question: How many groups of British citizens are there in Britain? What are they?
2. Listen to the tape for the first time and fill in the three groups of British citizens.
3. Ask the students to exchange their information.
4. Play the tape again for the students to correct their answers. Ask the students to have a look at the information of these people below. Could they be British? Using what you have just heard, tick if they could become British.

Page 52 WB Listening Task
1. 听第一遍,掌握大意,并回答问题 Exercise 1。听第二遍,然后回答问题 Exercise 2。
