语法专题六　动词和动词短语 1.考查动词词义辨析以及动词特有的句型结构。 2．动词和主语或者是宾语的搭配。有时只从句子的内容来看，几个选项似乎都合适，但只要从词的搭配上一看便可以得出答案。 3．动词短语。很多动词与介词或副词连在一起构成固定的搭配从而形成动词短语或短语动词，不能随意更改。如：make out, make up, make off, make over, make into; give up, give in, give away, give out, give off, etc.而这些短语的辨析，也备受历年高考命题者的青睐。近年高考对动词和动词短语含义的挖掘和拓宽也是一个热点。因此对于某些常用动词，不能仅记忆其在教材上的意思，还得留心它们的其他引申意义。如：take off除了表示“脱下(衣物)”，还有“(飞机的)起飞”，“突然离去”，“取消”，“减去”等含义。解答该题型的关键是根据所给动词短语的意思，结合题意作出正确选择。在平时的学习中应特别注意多积累一些习惯用语。 1.(2009·江西)It is reported that the police will soon ______ the case of the two missing children.
