A dural fold, the falx cerebri (5), is seen in the interhemispheric fissure separating the two cerebral hemispheres. Within the falx cerebri is a dural venous sinus, the superior sagittal sinus (6, 11). The section is cut through the superior frontal gyrus (3) and the superior parietal lobule (7).
