If static routes are so easy, why not use them all the time?- Static routes while easy but can be overwhelming in a large or complicated network. Each time there is a change, someone must manually make changes to reflect the change. So static route is only good to use in the small and fixed networks map topology. Those are the basic ideas of static routing. First, two VLANs need to be created with its own Interfaces on Layer 3 Switch 1. As illustrated, we created the Interface name of 192.168.1.X with IP interface address 192.168.1.100 / 24 for VLAN 10.
