The coordination of people, vehicles and roads has become one of the important problems to be solved in the traffic management department. Urban traffic control system is a computer integrated management system for urban traffic data monitoring, traffic signal control and traffic guidance, which is the most important part of the modern urban traffic monitoring and control system. This paper will study the design and production of an intelligent traffic light control system. The traffic light control system is composed of a single chip microcomputer, a signal light control display circuit, a digital control display circuit and a function key circuit. The virtual simulation of traffic light control system is carried out by using Proteus platform, and the installation and testing of the hardware circuit are also carried out. Software and hardware test results show that the traffic light control system not only has the basic function of traffic control, but also can adjust the time of passage by
