Like many Chinese-built cars, it is based on a Western design—in this case the Rover 75, the last model to be introduced by Britains now defunct[1] MG Rover. That hardly inspires confidence. (2)Unlike other Chinese firms, SAIC has not “borrowed” technology, components or designs for its new car.
