* * * Student Notes: You use Rescue and Recovery as your main backup tool that you can use to restore and recover files and, if necessary, your entire operating system. * * Student Notes: The main reason you would use the Rescue and Recovery preboot environment is to restore files or folders if you couldn’t get into Windows. Also, using Rescue and Recovery is the only way to recover IBM File and Folder Encryption (FFE）files. * Student Notes: To access the Windows interface, select Start, All Programs,在线帮助中心（Access IBM）, IBM Rescue and Recovery. From the Restore menu, the Restore your system command allows you to completely restore your system from backup. Make sure you rescue any files that have not been backed up. The Restoring files command lets you restore specific files and folders. * Student Notes: In the Save as text box, you can type an optional name to describe your backups. The first step in specifying where you want you backup saved to is to click the one of the radio buttons next to Save to. The date next to Most recent backup lets you know when the last successful backup ran.
