重要气候变化适应项目 由中国—英国—瑞士三方共同合作 中方重要合作伙伴—国家发展改革委 项目实施期：2009年6月—2012年6月 总预算：4800万人民币 西藏地区: 水流量改变/ 冰川融化 南部: 洪水频发、破坏力加大;热带疾病传播媒介向北蔓延 西北: 沙漠化 (水量蒸发严重) 北部和东北部: 水资源贫乏加剧 沿海地区: 台风、风暴潮、长期淹没 项目原则 合作项目—中外专家合作 气候变化是一个跨部门问题 依靠建立适应机制降低风险 关注适应选择和规划 关注弱势群体，如：贫困群体、妇女、儿童 与其他国家知识共享 项目活动 1. 加强中国气候科学研究能力 国家及省级影响和适应评估: 农业 水资源 极端气候事件/减灾 公共健康 草场-畜牧业 项目试点省份 项目活动 3.识别出最佳适应措施，并将其纳入规划当中 项目活动 4.培训、 能力建设、公众意识: 宣传，如网站、出版物 对官员及研究人员进行培训 知识共享: 国际适应网络 具体国家，如印度尼西亚、蒙古 谢谢!ellen-kelly@dfid.gov.uk * I hope this video has given you an idea of what we are aiming to achieve and address in the Adapting to Climate Change in China project. I’d like now to give you a bit more information about what we’ll do in the project. Will introduce some details of the project: why it’s important principles for project operation activities we will undertake * This project builds on a previous project between the UK China * This map shows why adaptation in China will be so important – highlights the main predicted impacts of climate change in different regions of China. * ACCC is “Research into Use” project – developing new research and putting it into use effectively. Some of the main principles the project will work to are: Collaboration between Chinese researchers and experts and the best international expertise. Project launch event has brought together world experts on range of issues to start this collaboration Climate change is cross sectoral – not just an environmental issue, will also effect economic and social development, industry. Important to have a range of different sectors and expertise involved. The best way to reduce risk to both humans and the environment is by building resilience. This involves proactive planning for future impacts, rather than just responding after the event. The principle of risk reduction will be extremely important. The focus of ACCC will be on understanding climate change impacts, and using this understanding to develop adaptation options and strategies for the future
