一般过去时重点在于过去某个时间发生了某 事,多与表示过去的时间状语连用. 现在完成时不与表示过去的时间状语连用， 要么表示过去发生的动作对现在产生了影 响， 要么表示某动作从过去一直持续到现在 （此时多与for, since连用）。 比较：He studied medicine in Japan for  five years .He has studied medicine in Japan for five years .比较： Last night he wrote a letter , telling his mother he would go home soon .
