His education was irregular, due to the bad financial condition of his family . In 1876 , he moved to London with his mother, after the divorce of his parents. He once made living by writing comments for newspaper office, from 1892, he really started writing drama. Achievement He is the only person to have been awarded both a Nobel Prize in Literature (1925) and an Oscar (1938), for his contributions to literature and for his work on the film Pygmalion (adaptation of his play of the same name), respectively.
