Interagency Committee for Property Management Personal Property Management Review Guide This guide was developed to assist in organizational assessments of the performance of personal property support throughout the Federal Government. The performance indicators contained within are consistent with the results-oriented focus of the Government Performance and Results Act. Successful performance of the personal property function will contribute to successful program outcomes. This guide also may be used in determining the adequacy of management controls under the Federal Managers Financial Integrity Act and the Office of Management and Budget Circulars, A-87, A-110, A-122, A-123. and A-133. It offers a common means of communicating about the strengths and outstanding performance, as well as weaknesses in an agency’s asset management/personal property system. Areas requiring attention can be identified and references to specific policy and procedures are useful for achieving corrective action. We welcome your suggestions concerning this guide, to further enhance the quality of logistics throughout the Federal establishment.
