玻璃和陶瓷基材的粘接 Adhesive Bonding of Glass and Ceramic Substrates by Edward M. Petrie Aug 22, 2007 Chapters: Introduction Characteristics of the Substrates Adhesive Selection UV Curing Glass Adhesives Glass and ceramic substrates are generally high surface energy materials, and most adhesives wet them readily. A wide range of adhesive products can be used when bonding a glass or ceramic substrate to itself or to other substrates. However, these substrates have certain characteristics that place unique demands on the adhesive system. Some of these requirements are listed below. Adhesives must often be clear or transparent so that the optical characteristics of the substrate are not adversely affected. The adhesive must also resist yellowing during aging and sunlight exposure. Adhesives or sealants must generally be resistant to UV exposure since the substrate is often clear and transparent to UV radiation. Adhesives or sealants must not outgas as the migration of low molecular weight substrates could affect the optical properties of the substrate. Adhesives must have a degree of flexibility and toughness to allow for thermal expansion and contraction during thermal cycling. Adhesives or sealants must not place significant stress on the glass substrate either due to shrinkage during cure or to post-cure shrinkage. This article will review the adhesive bonding of glass and ceramic substrates, and focus on optimal processes and materials that should be used. Since there is a wide range of adhesives and processes available to bond glass and ceramic substrates, this article should provide useful guidelines in selecting the correct course of action. The high surface energy of glass and ceramic substrates is both a virtue and a vice. The virtue is that it allows easy wetting of common organic adhesives. In this way the adhesive can completely coat the substrate and flow into any micro-roughness that may occur on the surface. The excellent wetting results in intimate
