Abstract N - hexyl isooctylamide was used as an ext ractant of Ir ( ) for separation f rom Rh. The influence of t hinner on phase separation and of component s in organic phase on t he ext rac2 tion has been investigated. Under selecting TB P - octane as a t hinner , t he influence of H + , Cl - ions concent ration in aqueous medium on t he ext raction , and ext ractive behaviour of Cu2 + , Fe3 + , Ni2 + ions have been investigated. The water was t he most efficient st ripping agent .
