It is regarded as a fashion walking a dog in the public and carrying a birdcage in the park, but all matters carry both benefits and harms, for instance, pets maybe threaten our health and pollute our environment if their owners are not responsible ones. Actually, it is widely acceptable to keep pets because pets can play with the children and accompany the senior citizens. Research also shows that living with a pet helps the keepers to release their pressure and distress, to decrease their feelings of loneliness, and to increase the interest in their life. However, many are against breeding animals. First of all, they argue that pets are easily infected by all kinds of viruses, which may be passed on to their owners. What’s more, they claim the uncomfortable smell and the unpleasant excretion made by pets pollute our environment. To my way of thinking, pets-keeping can bring us joy in the life while it may trigger the potential risks and hidden troubles.
