Project Collaboration allows multiple teams to work together across an extended enterprise, web interfaced, providing the ability to basically manage time, tasks, and also people skills in a truly collaborative environment to support collaborative planning and project tracking. * We can add requirements collaboration at the front end. You are able to position front end requirements as the key starting enabler… tying that to the design process, to the product structures, to the back end information, and even manage the systems engineering, as we look at test data, and results from the marketplace… * Product collaboration is the exposure of everything that’s product centric in a web data format. So you can expose requirements, you can expose projects, you can tie that to product structure, you can to tie that to design documents…to the entire extended enterprise. You can expose that only in teamcenter PLM. * You can add e-factory or quality in manufacturing collaboration. And it’s capabilities to integrate not just the CAD data, that’s largely on the unigraphics side, but also to tie in the whole factory. Think about product structure, starting at the top of a product and moving down….to the product plan. We can represent the same for the factory in process layout and do simulation. We can perform complete optimization, and provide a total resource management solution for the factory itself…. the digital factory. * And, of course, design collaboration. Enterprise collaboration is critical. We don’t have a full PLM solution unless we tie to ERP, the supply channel, the customer relationship management system, and legacy systems.
