Show students some numbers, ask some students to read them correctly. Teach cardinal numbers from 0-9 by asking: “How do you read these numbers in English?” “one, two, three. Etc.” Teach cardinal numbers from 10-19 by asking: “How do you read these numbers in English?” “ten, eleven, twelve. Etc.” Teach cardinal numbers from 20-90 by asking: “How do you read these numbers in English?” “twenty. Thirty.forty. Etc.” Present new words by describing my dream home. Teach the new words ‘hundred, thousand, million’ Let students pay attention to plus ‘-’, ‘and’, when we write them. When we read or write some large numbers, what should we do?
