One popular opinion, however, is the view that language acquisition / learning should be better if one goes to the country where the language is spoken. Studying overseas is helpful because it provides better learning atmosphere, involves various studying modes, and promotes deep cultural understanding, which are all beneficial to language improvement. Initially, the native country can provide a better learning atmosphere for a foreign language learner. In the foreign country, the learner has to use the language almost every day, but not just in class. He will not only listen to the teachers, discuss with his classmates, and do his homework in the language, but also will communicate with his friends, deal with his daily chores, and solve difficult problems using the language. There are always opportunities to practice listening to and speaking with native speakers, which greatly improves their efficiency and accuracy of language learning. Not only does the learner benefit from the good language atmosphere, he also participates in a variety of learning modes. Students will not just listen to the teacher read grammar and pronunciation rules to them, not just memorize the vocabulary by rote, but learn the language by vivid examples related to their lives and use it accordingly.
