一、预习导学
阅读书本P8,在课文中找到并划出下列词组,把答案写在横线上。

Step1 Pre-reading
Have the Ss talk about the qualities of friends according to some given sentences and revise
some adjectives and phrases.
Step2 While-reading
1. Have the Ss skim the passage and answer questions:
How many friends does the writer have? Who are they? Then try to complete a form. (PPT4)
2. Have the Ss read the passage carefully and complete 3 tables. (PPT6, 8, 10)
3. Have the Ss read the passage aloud and finish Part B1 on Page 9.
4. Have the Ss do some exercises about the passage. (PPT12, 13, 14 and Part B2)
Step3. Post-reading
1. Have the Ss discuss questions in pairs and act them out: Who would you choose as your best friend? Why?
