If this happens, you will need to listen for clues and then make a guess. You should pay attention to dates, places and facts. Listen to a radio quiz about the lives of some great minds. Fill in the blanks and use the clues to solve the mystery of who each person is. Speaking: Giving and accepting an  invitation When telling others about your plans, remember to state: where you will go what you will do there when you will leave and when you will return Here is an example of two people talking about an invitation on the phone. S1: Hello, may I speak to Peter? S2: This is Peter. Who is this? S1: Its me, John. Are you free on Saturday? S2: Im sorry, Im busy on Saturday. S1: How about Sunday? S2: I’m free on Sunday. S1: Would you like to go to the zoo? S2: That sounds great. What time shall we meet? S1: Lets meet at ten oclock. Ill meet you at the entrance. S2: OK. How can I get there? S1: Take the number 911 bus and get off after the museum. S2: Thanks. What time will we come back home? S1: Around four oclock in the afternoon. S2: Great. Ill see you then. S1: All right. Goodbye.
