WAB Chinese Language and Literature Articulation Charts 北京京西学校中文语言与文学课程衔接表 WAB Chinese Language and Literature Articulation Charts 北京京西学校中文语言与文学课程衔接表 Published June 2015 4WAB Chinese Language and Literature Articulation Charts 北京京西学校中文语言与文学课程衔接表 Our Chinese Language HODS/teachers, Curriculum Coordinators and administrators have been working together to look at the articulation of Chinese Language and Literature from ES to MS to HS. They have recently completed WAB’s WS Chinese Language and Literature Articulation Charts, which can be accessed (in Chinese) at: /node/23724 The purpose of this Language and Literature Articulation chart is to: ? Ensure a backwards by design approach of our WS Chinese Language and Literature program ? Ensure tighter articulation/progression for our Chinese Language and Literature students as they move across school sections ? Help our Chinese Language and Literature teachers have a deeper understanding of the Language and Literature programs in our other school sections ? Provide parents a wide view of our WAB Chinese Language and Literature program and of the articulation between programs ? Further inform parents of the progressive building of Chinese Language and Literature skills across WAB’s schools sections. This chart has been based on the following documentation: ? IBDP Language A Literature Guide ? IBDP Language A Language and Literature Guide ? IBMYP Language and Literature Guide ? IBPYP Language Scope and Sequence ? WAB Language A Standards and Benchmarks ? National Chinese Curriculum and Standards This chart serves as a foundation chart that can be built upon to add progression between the IB programmes and individual grade levels. It serves as a companion chart to our Chinese Language Acquisition Charts recently published (English) /WABvsACTFL_pdf.
