These people can be real or fictitious. But they must be extremely well known. Everybody in the class should know who these people are. The class will divide into four teams. One student will describe the famous person without saying their name. During round 1, you can say ANYTHING (in English) except for the famous persons name. One student will describe the famous person without saying their name. That students team will have 30 seconds to guess as many names as they can. Each correct guess scores 1 point. After 30 seconds, the next team takes a turn. During Round 2, you must choose a single word to describe the famous person. Only ONE word, so choose your word carefully. Each team still has 30 seconds to guess as many names as possible. Game #2 Two truths and a Lie We did class introductions on the first day, but how well do you really know each other? Each player must think of three things about himself or herself to tell the rest of the class. Two of these things must be true. One must be False. The class will vote on which of the three facts they believe is a lie. The class must come to a consensus The object of the game is to fool everybody. For example: Three “Facts” About Mr. Dewey 1. Mr. Dewey rode a sheep in a rodeo as a child 2. Mr. Dewey likes chocolate 3. Mr. Dewey grew up in New Zealand. For example: Three “Facts” About Mr. Dewey 1. Game #3 “Freeze” Three students will start by acting out a simple scenario in English. Examples: -Asking
