ABSTRACT
This paper focuses on collection styles and operation process of the landfill gas
(LFG) in Liu Litun landfill. Two typical estimation models were used to
predicted LFG production rate in next 20 years. The prediction results were
consistent with the current landfill gas production by testing report and the higher
concentration of hydrogen sulfide was detected under the membrane. The result
shows that membrane covering may improve LFG production and induced higher
concentration of hydrogen sulfide under it.

INTRODUCTION
Landfill gas (LFG) mainly comprised of methane (the primary component of
natural gas) and carbon dioxide that produce after municipal solid waste buried at
landfill site. Methane is an important green house gas which has the effect 25 times
