He shall ensure that all scaffold foreman and builders/erectors are properly trained and comply with the requirements of this procedure and Safety Manual. He shall ensure that all work permits were secure before the start of the job. Scaffolding Inspector The scaffolding inspector shall inspect all scaffolds and ensure that these are safe to use and fully comply with relevant specifications and standards. Scaffolding Engineer The scaffolding Engineer shall be responsible for the design and approval of all specialty scaffolds above 12 meters in height and inspection thereof.
