A Contrastive Study of Color Words in Chinese and English and Their Translation 英汉颜色词的文化内涵对比与翻译 Abstract When translating, translators may feel some confused in color words. We need to know the different meanings between Chinese and English if we want to translate correctly. Chinese and English have many differences from each other. Language is a part of one culture. In this paper, the writer will give a contrastive study of color words in Chinese and English and use some methods to solve the problems.
