Conclusion Bibliography 中文标题、摘要、关键词 The Cultural Connotations and the Translation of Color Terms in Chinese and English 中英颜色词的文化内涵及翻译 摘 要：人类生活在一个神奇的色彩世界里,颜色渗透到我们生活的各个领域，颜色词具有丰富的文化内涵。由于不同的文化、历史和地理原因,英语和汉语的颜色词反映了自己民族的颜色取向、社会心理、风俗习惯、宗教信仰等文化特点。因此对英语和汉语颜色词的文化内涵进行研究具有重要意义。文章主体阐述了英汉语言中基本色彩词的文化内涵，并介绍了几种相关翻译方法，举出了各种英汉汉英翻译的实例。通过对比英语和汉语基本颜色词的文化内涵，我们可以了解到民族的社会价值观、道德观以及文化的民族性和共同性。因此在翻译实践中重要的是如何突破文化障碍从而忠实有效地传达原文信息。本文分四个部分进行讨论。第一章首先,文章简要介绍了基本颜色词和文化两个概念以及回顾国内外学者对颜色词所作的研究, 第二部分研究英汉颜色词的文化内涵,从民族心理、历史传统、民俗习惯、等几个方面进行分析。第三部分是通过具体实例分析英汉颜色词的翻译方法。 关键词:颜色词；文化内涵；翻译方法。 Abstract: We live in a colorful world. There are a great variety of color words or a large number of color expressions describing the colorful things in the world. Color words have rich cultural connotations. Resulting from different social cultures, historical processes and geographic conditions, English and Chinese color terms reflect the discrepancy in the cultural aspects such as social values, customs, color preference etc. Therefore, it is of significance to have a study on the cultural connotations of basic color terms between English and Chinese.
